Two Speech- Language Pathologist from Pediatric Partners Clinic in Bismarck received their Beckman Oral Motor Assessment and Intervention Certifications. Throughout this presentation, participants learn hands-on techniques for tonic bite, slow oral transit, tongue thrust, and gag. The therapists practiced over 50 specific intervention strategies for improving facial muscle function for eating and speech. These certifications will help our therapists better serve patients with speech and swallowing goals.
