Biography
Melissa received her Masters of Occupational Therapy and her Bachelors of General Studies from the University of North Dakota. She comes to Pediatric Partners with a variety of experiences working for organizations focused on children’s wellness to include the North Dakota Autism Center, Moorhead Parks and Recreation and the YMCA.
Why did you choose a career in pediatrics?
Melissa began working at the Autism Center during her first year of college and while working with the children, found an interest in the field of Occupational Therapy. After job shadowing at Pediatric Partners while in college, she fell in love with the therapy and the impact OT’s were making on the lives of the children and their families.
What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
Melissa enjoys being outdoors, camping and hiking, spending time with friends and family (especially her niece), traveling, playing basketball and doing crafts.
