What To Expect

Finding the perfect pediatric therapy and care is important for your child’s development. We understand that the first visit is often the hardest one, and we want to make this process easier for you, your child, and your family. We have detailed some things you should prepare for on your first day.

Our goal is to be the resource for children and their families when it comes to all aspects of child development. Because your child deserves the best, you can trust Pediatric Partners to deliver nothing less.

 

During your first visit:

  • Plan to spend an hour at our location answering questions about your child, discussing their likes and dislikes, discussing what challenges or fears they might have, and identifying specific goals that you would like your child to achieve through therapy.
  • Bring a snack and/or a comfort item for your child (i.e. blanket, toy, etc.).
  • You will be an important part of the pediatric therapy We recommend that you not have other children at the appointment. We want your focus to be on the therapy session.
  • You will be required to complete paperwork that includes medical history and consent forms.
  • We ask that you arrive a minimum of 15 minutes early to complete necessary paperwork.
  • Bring a copy of child’s insurance card.
