Pediatric Partners is excited to announce the addition of Dr. Katie Nylander, Clinical Psychologist, to their growing team of pediatric professionals at Pediatric Partners Neurobehavioral Health, 3401 45th Street South, Fargo, ND.
Dr. Nylander comes to Pediatric Partners with a variety of outpatient and residential treatment center experience, providing psychological testing, individual therapy, and family therapy to children, adolescents and adults. Most recently practicing in Minot, ND she is excited to have transitioned back to the Fargo Moorhead area where many of her family and friends reside; she is already feeling like it’s home.
You can’t help but feel her excitement when asked what she is looking forward to in her new role, she is quick to talk about her passion for children, “There is tremendous joy in watching a child discover something new about themselves … and to be part of their journey is such a privilege.”
Stephen Olson, co-owner and director, who primarily oversees the Neurobehavioral Health Clinic, knows the value of adding a professional such as Dr. Nylander to the organization. “To keep in step with our growing community, we need to continually be looking for ways to serve the needs of our children.” He stated, “From the very first conversation about the need for this clinic, our goal has been to be a resource for treating the whole child, which includes working with families to help them navigate the obstacles they face, ultimately helping their child reach their maximum functional potential.”
The Pediatric Partners Neurobehavioral Health clinic first opened their doors in April of 2017 and has seen rapid growth ever since. The clinic will be completing the final phase of construction in May, resulting in a 15,000 sq. ft. space, home to a talented group of pediatric mental health professionals. The specialists housed in the state-of-the-art facility include: behavior consultation, mental health counseling, child psychology, occupational therapy, speech-language therapy, the applied behavior analysis team, as well as one of the very few Pediatric Neuropsychologists in the state.
